Principal's Welcome

The Mariposa Elementary School Staff welcome you to the 2013-2014 school year.

2012-2013 was a year of change and innovation for MES. We have had great success in transitioning from a K-6 elementary school to a a TK-8 elementary school. Our students, community and staff have done a great job of setting the foundation for MES for the years to come. 2013-2014 will be our second year as a TK-8 school. This year, we will focus on building an even more robust program that meets the needs of all students.

Best wishes for 2013-2014,

Jared Pierce

MES Principal

Permissive Absent Days

The school and teacher MUST be notified prior to a missed school day due to religious, personal, or heritage awareness.  A permissive absence is permitted when there is prior knowledge of the absence, work is given to the student, and that work is returned completed the next day back to school.  Mariposa Elementary School is excited to celebrate and acknowledge these important days with our students and their families.
